APPLICATION AND MAINTENANCE
Solvent Liquid Wax may be used as is from the container, or if a more liquid consistency
is desired the can may be placed on a radiator or placed in warm water for several
minutes. Sweep or vacuum floor surfaces to remove grit, sand, or dirt. Using a low-speed
buffing machine (175-300 Rpm) and a #2 steel wool or spray buffing pad, apply a small
amount of the solvent liquid wax directly to the floor surface. Using the buffing machine
spread a very thin even coat of wax on the floor. For small areas, or those inaccessible
with a buffing machine, the wax can be applied by hand using #2 steel wool, a soft cloth,
or lambs wool applicator. The wax will dry to a satin sheen in approximately 15 or 20
minutes. The waxed surface can then be polished with a buffing machine and soft polishing
brush, polishing pad, or by hand with a soft cloth or brush to a hard, lustrous shine.
Apply additional coats of wax until desired gloss and level of protection is obtained.
